Police say Jesse has been contacted by a local law enforcement agency and is not in need of any assistance after his family said they hadn't spoken to him since July 11 or 12.

AceShowbiz - Former MTV VJ Jesse Camp has been found safe after his sister reported him missing. The Riverside Police Department said in a statement released via Twitter on Tuesday, July 24, "Josiah 'Jesse' Camp is no longer considered missing. He was contacted by a local law enforcement agency a short time ago and not in need of any assistance. His family has been notified. No further information will be released."

Police say Jesse is "possibly transient" and has been staying in local motels. Police previously said they didn't "see anything suspicious" about Jesse's disappearance, but his family was understandably worried as his sister Marisha Camp said that her brother "might have been depressed recently."

Marisha filed the missing report on July 19 after Jesse failed to respond to calls from herself and other family members, which, according to her, is unusual. Their mother last spoke to the 38-year-old star on July 11 or 12.

"Family members who he routinely keeps in contact with had not heard from him for about a week," police said in a media release. "During their inquiries into his possible whereabouts, they learned Jesse was recently in the city of Riverside, but is also known to frequent the Inland Empire region."

Jesse's ex-girlfriend additionally said that she tried to reach out to him, but a stranger picked up his cellphone and said that Camp had given him the phone and three bags of property.

Police ask anyone with information about Jesse's whereabouts contact their local law enforcement agency so his welfare can be checked.

Marisha previously spread the word of Jesse's disappearance on social media and asked for people's help to find him. "If anyone has seen or heard from my brother since Saturday, please, please, please reach out to me or ask him to call home!! Thank you!!!!" she wrote on Instagram Stories on Saturday, July 21.

"I can't begin to thank everyone who reached out to express their concern and support after my brother Jesse went MIA. He truly has the most beautiful friends from all walks of life, and he is SO LOVED...," she added. "What he needs more than anything is kindness and love... please keep him in your prayers. If you see him, please let him know that many, many people care..."
