The "I'll Be Missing You" hitmaker wed producer and "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta" star Stevie in Las Vegas after applying for a marriage license in Clark County, Nevada on Tuesday, July 17. According to TMZ.com, they exchanged vows in their hotel room just hours later.
It is the third marriage for the R&B singer, however, a copy of the marriage license obtained by the news outlet lists her marriage to Stevie, real name Steven Jordan, as marriage number two, after her 2011 divorce from former spouse Todd Russaw, while her marriage to B.I.G., real name Christopher Wallace, is not listed.
Faith, 45, has reportedly blamed court officials for the error, and insists she informed the clerk the marriage to Stevie would be her third.
"Biggie was my first true love, he will always be acknowledged as such," the singer told TMZ. "Everyone knows he was my husband."
Faith and Biggie, met as labelmates as part of Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Bad Boy Records and tied the knot in August 1994, within days of meeting each other. They had one child together, a son C.J. Wallace Jr., and separated shortly before his 1997 murder in a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles.
Mother-of-four Faith and Stevie married in secret in their Vegas hotel room last week, blindsiding family and friends who were reportedly unhappy at not being invited to the wedding.
Meanwhile, a 20-year-old woman has come forward claiming that father-of-six Stevie is set to become a dad again, reports Billboard.
