A Rite Aid spokesperson says, 'We are in the early stages of exploring this approach and have not made any decision about the potential rollout of this to additional stores.'

AceShowbiz - Bosses at Rite Aid stores across Southern California are blasting out Barry Manilow's hits to keep vagrants and beggars away.

Customers have started to notice songs like Copacabana and Mandy playing outside the popular drug stores when they arrive to shop, and now Rite Aid officials have confirmed they're trying to drive the homeless away by playing Barry.

A Rite Aid spokesperson told the Wall Street Journal, "We are in the early stages of exploring this approach and have not made any decision about the potential rollout of this to additional stores."
