The 45-year-old rocker says in a tweet, 'Let's get the BIG O back together and stop f***ing about the drinks are on me.'

AceShowbiz - Liam Gallagher has reached out to his brother Noel Gallagher and urged him to regroup Oasis.

Just days after scrapping his upcoming European solo tour to focus on recording tracks for his new personal album, Liam has made a dramatic bid to end his almost 10 years of estrangement with Noel, poking fun at the High Flying Birds leader's alcohol-free gigs.

"Earth to noel listen up rkid I hear your doing gigs where people can't drink alcohol now that's the BeZarist (bizarrest) thing you've done yet (sic)," Liam wrote on Twitter on Thursday, July 19, before adding: "I forgive you now let's get the BIG O back together and stop f**king about the drinks are on me".

The tweet comes days after Liam accused Noel of cursing the England football team during a social media rant, in which he lashed out at the "miserable" 51 year old for grousing about the national team's defeat against Croatia in the World Cup semi-final.

"They put a curse on it it they should be shot," Liam raged.

Oasis split in 2009 shortly after Noel quit a European tour following a backstage spat with his brother. The Gallaghers haven't spoken since, but they have taken shots at each other on social media and in the press.

The sibling rivalry hasn't stopped fans hoping for an Oasis reunion, but the Gallaghers stopped short of getting the band back together to mark the 20th anniversaries of their debut album, Definitely Maybe, and follow-up (What's the Story) Morning Glory? in 2004 and 2005, respectively.
