AceShowbiz - Jay-Z has expressed his disappointment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Mayor Jim Kenney after he announced the rapper's Made in America festival would need to find a new home.
Jay-Z launched the event in 2012 but Kenney recently revealed the weekend festival would not be held on the Benjamin Franklin Freeway in the city after this year.
In response to the news, the rap star has written a piece for the local newspaper, the Inquirer, which was published on Wednesday, July 18. In it, he suggests the Mayor is making a big mistake.
"We are disappointed that the Mayor of the City of Philadelphia would evict us from the heart of the city, through a media outlet, without a sit-down meeting, notice, dialogue or proper communication," the rap star writes.
"It signifies zero appreciation for what Made In America has built alongside the phenomenal citizens of this city".
The festival's main sponsor, Budweiser, has also backed out of this year's event, which will features set from Nicki Minaj and her ex Meek Mill.
