The rapper was originally expected to be released in early October.

AceShowbiz - Rapper Kodak Black is set for an early release from jail after a judge slashed his one-year sentence.

According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the judge overseeing his sentence has agreed to add 30 days to his "time served" stint, and now the hip-hop star could be a free man from mid-August.

He was originally expected to be released in early October but the updated court order from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office now lists his expected release date as 18 August.

The Tunnel Vision rapper, real name Bill Kapri, was sentenced to one year in county jail back in April after pleading guilty to two probation violations, including driving on a suspended license.

Several other violation charges, including child neglect, were dropped.
