The former 'Dancing with the Stars' pro dancer and her younger sister Ina don't look awkward at all as they trade a friendly banter in a video Cheryl shares on Instagram.

AceShowbiz - From a heartbreaking loss comes an unexpected blessing. Cheryl Burke found out that she has a younger sister she never knew existed after her father's passing. The professional dancer took to Instagram on Monday, July 9 to share a photo and a video of their beautiful encounter.
"With my father's passing came a lot of darkness but there was also a lot of light - I found my sister who I had never known," she wrote. "We recently met for the first time and it was such a surreal experience to walk into a room to meet and walk out feeling like we had known each other forever. In her I see the same drive and passion that our dad had and there's clearly a major family resemblance. It may have taken 30 years to find each other, but I am so excited to have another sister for life."
In the short clip, Cheryl and her sister posed side by side and the "Dancing with the Stars" alum asked if they looked like. It appears that they instantly got close after their first meeting as they traded friendly banter in the video.
Cheryl's father Stephen Louis Burke passed away in March. She wrote a heartbreaking message at the time, "Dad, if I had one more chance to have you here with me today, I would do things differently. Every day I would tell you how much I love you. I miss you so much already. Rest In Peace Stephen Louis Burke April 13, 1950 - March 9, 2018."
Cheryl admitted she had some initial skepticism before meeting her sister Ina for the first time on July 3 in Los Angeles. "With this business, at least for me, comes trust issues. Is she reaching out to me for something that she may need? We didn't know each other. I didn't know if she was actually my sister," she tells PEOPLE. "Just because your last name is Burke doesn't mean that you're my sister."
She goes on sharing about meeting her younger sister, who currently lives in Seattle, "I was a little nervous meeting face-to-face because you just never know. And then we met face-to-face and it's like looking at yourself in the mirror. When you see someone on social media, you wonder do they still look like that? When I saw her in person, it was like looking in the mirror, like the freckles. We definitely look like our father."
With her upcoming wedding and her recent meeting with her sister, Cheryl will surely have more happy days to come. She got engaged to Matthew Lawrence in May and told Us Weekly at the time that they "definitely want to get married as soon as possible."
