Glassnote Entertainment Group claims the musician has raked in more than $700,000 and has not paid them what they are owed.

AceShowbiz - Donald Glover faces a lawsuit from his record label over streaming royalties.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Glassnote Entertainment Group claimed the actor and rapper, also known as Childish Gambino, has raked in more than $700,000 (£527,000) and has not paid them what they are owed.

The label execs claimed they are entitled to half of SoundExchange payouts for so-called “non-interactive digital performance royalties” - money paid to the artists for such streaming services such as Pandora, Spotify and SiriusXM.

Lawyers for the label claimed that Glover is refusing to split the $700,000 made so far in royalties from SoundExchange.

It was also alleged that the actor and rapper recently made a $1.5 million (£1.2 million) demand from them to resolve any streaming royalty disputes.

The case is ongoing.
