Woods reveals that Ken Kaplan wrote him an email on July 04, informing that he he no longer wanted to represent the movie veteran.

AceShowbiz - Actor James Woods has reportedly been dropped by his agent over his political beliefs.

The Once Upon A Time in America star claims his agent, Ken Kaplan, wrote him an email on America's Independence Day, July 04 and informed him he no longer wanted to represent the movie veteran because of his conservative beliefs.

"So this email from my agent (a political liberal) today..." Woods wrote on Twitter before posting the alleged correspondence from his former agent, which reads, "It's the 4th of July and I'm feeling patriotic. I don't want to represent you anymore. I mean I could go on a rant but you know what I'd say".

Kaplan has not commented on Woods' claims, but the actor also posted his email response to his former agent.

"Dear Ken, I don't actually (know what you'd say)," Woods wrote. "I was thinking if you're feeling patriotic, you would appreciate free speech and one's right to think as an individual. Be that as it may, I want to thank you for all your hard work and devotion on my behalf. Be well".
