AceShowbiz - 21 Savage has urged the hip-hop community to give Drake more credit for supporting young rappers.
The No Heart hitmaker is making waves after teaming up with Post Malone for 2017 hit Rock Star, and in a new GQ expose he's heaping praise on the Canadian for giving new artists big breaks.
"He did a lot of s**t he didn't have to do," Savage tells the magazine. "He do a lot of s**t for up-and-coming rappers, period (sic). I don't think he get his respect for that.
"Every f**kin' year, he pull a new artist up. Ain't no other artist on his level do that s**t."
Drake was largely responsible for 21 Savage's success after plucking him from obscurity in 2016, and reveals the God's Plan star gifted him a red Ferrari for his 24th birthday.
"He the only one that got me something for my birthday that year," Savage told GQ. "Don't nobody else get me s**t but Drake (sic)."
