About 8000 people attend the service to bid their final goodbye to the 'Joceyln Flores' hitmaker who was shot dead on June 18.

AceShowbiz - Slain rapper XXXTENTACION got a major public memorial service on Wednesday, June 27 at the BB&T Center, Florida. More than 8000 people attended the memorial to see the body of the young rapper in the casket and say their final goodbye. They gathered early around 7 A.M. for the service despite the fact that the gate opened at noon. The viewing was scheduled to last until 6 P.M.

Some fans brought merchandise such as a sweatshirt with XXXTENTACION's face on it and some other fans sang and danced along his song before entering the memorial viewing.

The rapper's celebrity friends including Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert and Denzel Curry were also spotted in the arena.

XXXTENTACION was dressed in a blue denim jacket under soft lighting and laid inside a dark polished coffin at center stage. The coffin was surrounded by black flowers with metallic accents. Above the crowd of mourners, there's a screen which displayed images, along with the rapper's quotes from interviews, clips from his music videos and even coverage of a chaotic memorial in Los Angeles last week.

"He considered you all family, and I wanted to do something special for you all," XXXTENTACION's mother Cleopatra Bernard said on Instagram about the service.

The family of the rapper arranged the memorial service and announced it on XXXTENTACION's official Instagram account on June 18. The announcement was posted along with a picture of the rapper, whose real name is Jahseh Dwayne Onfroy.

"Fans come out and say your final goodbyes. It will be your last chance to see him. address is 1 Panther Parkway, Sunrise Florida 33323 (The admission is free. This is a final farewell, not an event!)" the caption read.
