Nielsen, 54, gave birth to her fifth child in Los Angeles on Friday, June 22, and the newborn is already tasting life in the spotlight after appearing with mum in a new People magazine expose.
The Danish model and actress revealed she was pregnant with her husband, Italian model Mattia Dessi's child last month, by posting shots of herself on Instagram.
She tells People her bid to have a fifth child wasn't easy, explaining, "We are overjoyed to welcome our beautiful daughter into our lives. It's been a long road, and so worth it. We've never been more in love."
Nielsen, who was married to actor Sylvester Stallone in the mid-1980s, wed 39-year-old Dessi in July, 2006. Frida is their first child together.
