AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck and Lindsay Shookus have taken to the next step of every serious relationship, meeting the parents. The Batman depicter and the "Saturday Night Live" producer were spotted dining at Cassia, an upscale Southeast Asian restaurant in Santa Monica, California, with Lindsay's parents on Saturday, June 23.

The 45-year-old actor dressed comfortably in a black tee and a matching Gucci leather jacket. He completed his look with a pair of denim pants. Lindsay, meanwhile, donned a peach sweater, a suede bomber jacket, ripped jeans and white heels. Her parents also donned casually. They were snapped entering the restaurant in seemingly good spirits.

"Ben was in a great mood," an onlooker said to PEOPLE of the outing. "Lindsay seemed very happy to have her parents here."

According to the source, Ben "gets along great with her parents." The source also added, "They were all chatting and laughing. They shared a family style dinner with several of the restaurant favorites, including chickpea curry and steak frites. Ben picked up the check at the end of the night."

Prior to this, Lindsay broke her silence on her relationship with Ben. "It's strange to me," she opened up to Elle. "My entire career has been behind the camera, and that’s definitely where I’m most comfortable. I'm a producer, I'm a mom, a friend. Being considered a public figure honestly makes me laugh."

Lindsay is a parent of her 5-year-old daughter whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Miller. Meanwhile, Ben is a parent of his three children, daughters Violet (12) and Seraphina (9), and son Samuel (6), from his previous marriage to actress Jennifer Garner.

Ben and Lindsay made their first public appearance in July last year when they stepped out for dinner in the Pacific Palisades.
