AceShowbiz - Ex-3 Doors Down rocker Todd Harrell has been held on $22,500 (£17,100) bail after violating his probation with his arrest on Friday, June 15.

The bassist was taken into custody in Jackson County, Missouri and charged with domestic violence simple assault, along with felony counts of marijuana possession, and possession of firearm by a convicted felon.

The bust broke the terms of his six-year probation relating to his conviction for vehicular homicide following his involvement in a fatal 2013 car crash, for which he served time in 2015.

As a result, Harrell is now facing the possibility of at least 18 months behind bars.

His bail was set during a hearing in a Jackson County court on Monday, June 18, reports The Associated Press.

Harrell was suspended indefinitely from 3 Doors Down in 2014, shortly after his second arrest for driving under the influence (DUI).

The troubled musician had also been on drugs in 2013 when the speeding star clipped a pick-up truck.The driver hit a guardrail and crashed, dying from his injuries.
