AceShowbiz - Actress Ellen Burstyn has signed on to play Natalie Portman's grandmother in space drama "Pale Blue Dot".
The "Black Swan" star will portray a successful astronaut who struggles to adapt to life on Earth after returning from a mission in space, with Jon Hamm cast as the male lead.
Dan Stevens will also appear in the film, which will be directed by Noah Hawley.
Reese Witherspoon, who had originally signed up to star in and produce the project in 2015, will still co-produce alongside Bruna Papandrea, according to Variety.
