AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj have a new collaboration coming soon. Ahead of the release of the 24-year-old songstress' much-anticipated album "Sweetener", she has taken to Twitter to share a snippet of their collaborative track, "The Light Is Coming".

In a clip that is posted on the micro-blogging site, Ariana can be seen sitting in the back of a car while listening to the said collaboration. "Why you have to make me go call up my side guy?/ Can't let a F-boy eff up my nights, right?" Nicki can be heard rapping in the 21-second clip, before Ariana rap-sings, "The light is coming to give back everything the darkness stole/ The light is coming to give back everything the darkness stole."

The response to the clip is immediate, with many fans expressing their surprise since they didn't know Ariana would drop a song teaser anytime soon. They still love it, though, as one Twitter fan writes, "ARIANA YOU DO NOT JUST GO ONLINE A POST A SNIPPET LIKE THAT," adding in another tweet, "I AM SHAKING."

Some others, meanwhile, are surprised as they thought that the song would be a ballad at first. "I thought the light is coming was gonna be like a ballad or something but it's not and OMG wow u said expect the unexpected and this is very unexpected wow wow SHOOK," another wrote.

It's still unclear when the song will be released, but many suggest that Ariana will debut it on June 20.

"The Light Is Coming" will be the second single off "Sweetener" and the follow-up to "No Tears Left to Cry". The album itself is expected to be released on July 20. During her appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", she said of the album title, "It's kind of about bringing light to a situation or to someone else's life, or about somebody that brings light to your life."
