AceShowbiz - One of 1,200 non-VIP attendees is cashing in on the official goody bag gifted free on the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle which took place on Saturday, May 19 at St.George's Chapel. Just a few hours after the big event, a woman named Claire Oliver sold the gift bag on eBay for a whooping $30k.
Oliver was one of those who were invited to spend the day outside the chapel, given the enviable chance to see the newlyweds and their famous guests up close. The 31-year-old HR manager for Troup Bywaters previously tweeted, "got to watch the royal wedding right outside Windsor Castle in this amazing setting. Such an amazing day #Golden ticket #Royal connections," and she filmed herself twirling with joy in the grounds.
Hours later, she posted on her allegedly now-deleted Twitter account a photo of the commemorative gift bag on the multinational e-commerce site, and it didn't take too long for the bag to receive a highest bid of around $30k.
The canvas bag is embroidered with the couple's initials in blue inks. It contains a welcome letter from the couple, a bottle of Windsor Castle water, a giant chocolate coin, a fridge magnet, a tin of shortbread and a 20 percent off coupon at the castle gift shop.

However, according to Daily Mail, Oliver claimed that the bid was just a troll, adding that she never received any payment. The Cambridge woman has also reportedly withdrawn the goody bag from the site.

One other was aiming at the international market, saying, "I'm happy to send the gift bag internationally if your happy to cover the postage."
The action was heavily criticized, but one seller claimed that s/he would donate the money, adding that s/he had 'forgotten' to mention it on their eBay post.
