Instead of attending the after-party, Jungkook and co. gathered in a room to do a live broadcast and thank their fans for their Top Social Artist win.

AceShowbiz - BTS (a.k.a. Bangtan Boys) doesn't forget to give back to fans after reaching international fame. The seven-member South Korean boyband recently won the Top Social Artist Award at the Billboard Music Awards and celebrated it with fans.

Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM (previously Rap Monster), Jimin, V and Jungkook all attended the star-studded event which was held Sunday, May 20 at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas. As many other guests at the show, they were invited to several after-parties, but decided to skip it and hang out with fans instead.

After the live awards show, the boys gathered in a room to do a live broadcast and greet their fans online. V told fans, "We got invited to a couple after-parties, but we turned them down for this live broadcast!"

During the 13-minute long broadcast, BTS' members thanked fans for their win. "This award would not have been possible without you guys. I thought my heart would explode," Jimin said. "People ask us about ARMYs wherever we go. What does ARMY mean to us, how are they so passionate about supporting the group? It makes me so proud and so supported."


The idols were seen enjoying some meal while goofing around. They also shared about their experience meeting famous celebrities at the Billboard Music Awards.

Jimin additionally thanks fans in a post shared on Twitter. "We received this award from all of you. I won't forget it. I love you," read the caption of a photo showing Jimin holding the golden mic award.

BTS hung out with Taylor Swift, Pharrell Williams, John Legend, The Chainsmokers, Tyra Banks and many others at the event. Pharrell even started following the group on Twitter after their encounter.

BTS also took the stage at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards with their debut live performance of their new song "Fake Love". It was one of the highly-anticipated performances that night as the audience could be seen screaming and singing along throughout the performance.

The group recently debuted their new album "Love Yourself: Tear ".
