The 26-year-old star was previously hospitalized after reportedly losing control of his Dodge Challenger and crashing in Atlanta, Georgia.

AceShowbiz - Quavo has assured fans his Migos bandmate Offset is "up and running" following a car accident last week (ends May 20).

The 26-year-old star was hospitalised with minor injuries in the early hours of Thursday morning (May 17) after reportedly losing control of his Dodge Challenger and crashing in Atlanta, Georgia.

Offset revealed the severity of the crash on Instagram on Saturday by sharing images of his smashed-up car, him laying on a hospital bed in a neck brace, and close-up graphic snaps of his bloodied, wounded hands and arms.

His bandmate Quavo attended the Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday, and told Billboard that the rapper is on the mend.

"My boy Offset got into a bad car accident, but he doing fine, he up and running, he up and walking, ready to work. He should be back working real, real soon. It's a blessing that he's still here," he said.

Offset, real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus, previously told fans on social media that he thanked God every day because he could have been killed in the accident.

In a now-deleted post on Twitter, his fiancee Cardi B, who is pregnant with their first child, claimed the rapper had to swerve and hit a tree because "a crackhead was in the middle of the road trying to get hit or kill himself."

Police officers are now investigating the crash to determine if anyone else was in the vehicle, who was behind the wheel, and why Offset left the scene of the crash. The car was reportedly found abandoned after a passerby who reported it, and insiders claim two unknown individuals pulled up in another car and allegedly cleared out items from the car before it was taken away by a tow truck.
