The Duchess of Cambridge was seen giving her stepmother-in-law a side eye after having a brief, but intense conversation with her.

AceShowbiz - Kate Middleton stole the spotlight at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's wedding on May 19. The Duchess of Cambridge was spotted giving her stepmother-in-law, Camilla Parker Bowles, a side eye while the two were seated in St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.

The move definitely surprised many fans of the royal family, as Kate isn't typically one to be sassy. Before giving the Duchess of Cornwall the side eye, Kate was seen having a brief, but intense conversation with her during the sermon of American Bishop Michael Curry. According to a report, Camilla snickered at some of the Bishop's remarks, and Kate did not agree with her stepmother-in-law's behavior.

Pictures and videos of the moment soon went viral online, with many people commenting that they could relate with what the mother-of-three did to Camilla. "I'm here for Kate Middleton's side-eye game with her (step)mother in-law!" one Twitter user wrote. Another added, "The image of Kate Middleton giving Camilla the side eye will forever be burned in my eyeballs."

"Kate Middleton side-eyeing Camilla Bowles while the pastor gives 'love thy neighbor' reading is the level of petty I aspire to be," one other said. Another user who could relate to Kate wrote, "Kate Middleton giving side eye to Camilla is honestly me Monday - Friday mornings to anyone who speaks to me before I've had my coffee."

The bad blood between Camilla and Kate seemed to have started long ago, when Kate and William were first dating. According to a biographer, Camilla thought that Kate was "too common" to marry Prince William and might have tried to manipulate the relationship so they wouldn't get married. Another reports claimed that Camilla once shared unflattering information about Kate and her family with the press. Both rumors were never confirmed, though.
