The 'Deadpool 2' star wants to turn his ongoing and hilarious social media beef with the 'Greatest Showman' actor into a TV series.

AceShowbiz - Ryan Reynolds isn't going to stop trading insults with Hugh Jackman anytime soon. The Canadian hunk has been involved in a hilarious social media beef with the Australian actor over his persistent request to have Jackman reprise the role of Wolverine in a team-up film.

Addressing their "feud" during an interview for an EW Radio Spotlight special airing on Friday, May 18, Reynolds jokingly says, "I think it needs to be turned into some kind of Ryan Murphy miniseries," suggesting a theme for the follow-up to FX's "Feud: Bette and Joan". He adds, "Us in full beauty makeup, with insane Entertainment Tonight lighting."

Reynolds has been trolling Jackman on social media in an attempt to convince him to put his Wolverine claws on. In press notes for his upcoming movie "Deadpool 2", Reynolds said, "Did You Know? 42 percent of men and 25 percent of women don't wash their hands after using a public toilet (cough*Hugh Jackman*coughcough)." He later added, "We have no evidence to support that, by the way. He's so nice he makes ice cream look like murder."

"The Greatest Showman" actor recently responded to Reynolds' numerous playful jabs at him, saying on "Good Morning America" last week, "Hey buddy, how are ya, mate? Ryan, I love you man. I love 'Deadpool'. I can't wait to see the movie, you're one of my best friends. Blake, the fam, the whole thing. But back it up a little. Play a little hard to get. It's too much - It's not sexy."

And Reynolds realizes that convincing Jackman to come out of his Wolverine retirement won't be easy. "I think convincing Hugh of that would be a near-impossible feat, but there's no human being I love more than Hugh Jackman in that universe, and equally so as a friend. He's just the best," he previously told Entertainment Weekly.

While there's very little hope to see Deadpool and Wolverine together again since the former's big screen debut in 2009's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine", Reynolds has revealed that there's a jab at his former co-star in "Deadpool 2". "One person I definitely talked to was Hugh before I threw him over the coals. He's bigger than me so I for sure let him know we'd be making fun of him a little, but I love him," he told Us Weekly at the film's NYC premiere on Monday, May 14. "I'm really trying to see a Wolverine and Deadpool movie."

There's also a reference to Beyonce Knowles and Matthew McConaughey as Reynolds explained, "There's a little bit of making fun, but I think everyone sees it for what it is, in the spirit of what it is. Most of the humor is really without teeth."

"Deadpool 2" hits U.S. theaters on May 18.
