The 'American Idol' alum was performing covers of the 59-year-old's songs when he made a surprise appearance onstage to present the blonde beauty with a bouquet of flowers.

AceShowbiz - Carrie Underwood was reunited with country music legend Randy Travis on Friday, May 11, as she celebrated her 10th anniversary as a member of the prestigious Grand Ole Opry. The "Before He Cheats" hitmaker headed back to the hallowed venue in Nashville, Tennessee on Friday, May 11, to mark the milestone with a special performance, during which she treated fans to a set which included her hits "Jesus", "Take the Wheel", "Temporary Home", and her new single, "Cry Pretty".

During the show, Carrie told the crowd, "This is my anniversary tonight. And we are very glad that you guys are here to celebrate with us!" She also delivered a cover of classic Randy tune, "An Old Pair of Shoes", before the veteran crooner himself made a surprise appearance onstage to present the blonde beauty with a bouquet of flowers.

The reunion brought Carrie's career full circle as Travis had invited her to become a member of the legendary concert hall back in March 2008.

The special moment was captured on camera and shared on the Grand Ole Opry's official Twitter page, where a representative captioned the snap, "A surprise visit from RANDY TRAVIS to celebrate! It was Randy Travis who invited @carrieunderwood to join the #Opry 10 years ago," read another post, "and he made a surprise visit to celebrate with her tonight! #OnlyTheOpry."

The anniversary gig was also Carrie's first time back on the Opry stage after suffering a nasty fall at home last November, when she shattered her wrist and required more than 40 stitches to her face.
