AceShowbiz - Well, that is certainly unexpected. Ariana Grande has proven that pop is not the only genre that she can sing as she joins forces with Pharrell Williams on jazz anthem "Arturo Sandoval". The song is an ode to Grammy-winning jazz trumpeter Arturo Sandoval.

The song will be included on the trumpeter's upcoming album "Ultimate Duets", which will be released on May 18. It also features collaboration with other musicians such as Stevie Wonder, Josh Groban and Prince Royce. While most of the songs are new recordings of old song, Pharrell was inspired to write a brand new song dedicated to Arturo, whom Ariana is also a big fan of.

The track itself finds the musician duo gushing over the 68-year-old composer. "His melodies wash up on your mind just like seashells/ To remember that we're all golden as well/ Arturo Sandoval and the story that he tells/ Reminds me," they sing over the jazzy instrumental. "Of El Dorado/ Of El Dorado."

This won't be the only collaboration between the "Happy" hitmaker and the Nickelodeon alum. The two worked together on Ariana's highly-anticipated forthcoming album "Sweetener", which is expected to be released on July 20.

Prior to the release, Ariana has unleashed the first single off the album, "No Tears Left to Cry". Rumor has it, the "Dangerous Woman" songstress will premiere a second single off the set soon after she shared on social media a picture of religious painting. Fans suggest that the next single will be "God Is a Woman".

During her recent appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon", Ariana shared some details of her upcoming album. "It's kind of about bringing light to a situation or to someone else's life," she said of the album title. "Or about somebody that brings to your life."
