The songstress shares in an interview that she 'ate all the Honey Buns in the world' to ensure she hit her calorie goal before the performance.

AceShowbiz - Michelle Williams (II) gorged herself on sweet treats to ensure she hit her calorie goal in preparation for her onstage Destiny's Child reunion at California's Coachella music festival. The singer joined forces with her old bandmates Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland to wow fans, but the typically-slender star didn't have to do much to keep in shape before the big gig.
"I just ate all the Honey Buns (cinnamon buns) in the world... just making sure I was getting the correct intake of calories," she told Cosmopolitan magazine. "I'm not doing anything on purpose to be slim. I literally have to have a certain amount of calories to maintain a healthy weight."
And Michelle's laid back approach to food and fitness is the same all year round. "I don't have a diet," she shared. "I have friends who deprive themselves of certain carbs and even fruit... I don't do that."
However, she does make an effort to stay toned, committing to regular 30-minute work-outs. "I don't like to stay in the gym long," Michelle explained. "I crack up at people who be (sic) like, 'I was at the gym from 10 to 2pm'. Doing what?"
Instead, the singer keeps herself busy away from the stage and the gym working on her interior design firm, Believe Home by Michelle Williams. "We launched it three years ago, with bedding and comforters, but now we have furniture, and I have a candle...," she gushed on "Good Morning America".
"The Survivor" singer, who hails from Rockford, Illinois, was inspired by her grandmother to turn her family's love of home decor into a money-making side project. "I've always been into home decor, my grandmother and mother just took pride in their homes," Michelle continued. "We didn't live in the best neighbourhood, but if you walked in our home, you would have thought it was a million dollar home."
She added, "My grandmother, she handmade all of her curtains, all of her comforters, and as the seasons changed, so did everything around the house. I was like, 'Listen, I can't sew, but I can get with some design partners and we can come up with a lot of things.' "
