AceShowbiz - Lance Bass is developing a new documentary about the man behind boy band NSYNC. YouTube bosses have ordered "The Lou Pearlman Project", which will chronicle the rise and fall of the infamous record producer, who was convicted on fraud charges.

NSYNC star Bass, who will executive produce the project, says, "I've always wanted to tell the story of the rise and fall of Lou Pearlman. I thought I knew most of the story since I had a front row seat. I was fascinated to learn so much more through the eyes of other artists that were also subjected to Pearlman and his nefarious operation."

Pearlman was serving a 25-year prison sentence for multiple felony convictions when he died of cardiac arrest at the age of 62 in 2016.

Bass' new film will feature in-depth interviews with Backstreet Boys star A.J. McLean, O-Town's Ashley Parker Angel, Aaron Carter and NSYNC bandmates JC Chasez and Chris Kirkpatrick. Lance Bass and his mother Diane will also appear on camera, as will Justin Timberlake's mum Lynn Bomar Harless.
