AceShowbiz - Veteran R&B singer Christopher Williams has become a wanted man in Georgia in relation to a charge of petty theft.
The 50-year-old "I'm Dreamin'" star, who enjoyed a run of hits from the late 1980s to the early 1990s, was taken into custody in October 2017 after allegedly walking out of a Kohl's retail store without paying for a pair of pricey headphones.
He was due to face the charge in court last week (ends April 20) but missed the hearing, and authorities have since obtained a bench warrant for his arrest, according to TMZ.com.
Williams, who once dated actresses Stacey Dash and Halle Berry, previously played down the reported theft, telling cops he simply forgot he had bagged the headphones.
