Along with the release of the music video, the songstress announces North American tour dates which will launch on June 11 in Seattle.

AceShowbiz - As the release date of her much-anticipated album "Dirty Computer" is coming closer, Janelle Monae has given fans one last taste of her forthcoming third studio album. Following the release of "I Like That", the songstress premiered a music video for the track on Monday, April 23.

Directed by Lacey Duke, the visuals features Monae donning an all-white ensemble while sitting inside an auditorium along with clones of herself. Her hair is styled in three large, ombre braids. Another scene sees her reclines in a bathtub as she raps about a former classmate.

"I remember when you called me weird/ We was in math class, third row, I was sitting by you/ Right before Mr. Ammond's class," she rhymes. " 'Cause my mom couldn't afford new Js/ Polos, thrift store, thrift clothes that was all I knew/ Do you remember?/ Uh, I remember when you laughed when I cut my perm off/ And you rated me a six."

"I Like That" is the fourth single off "Dirty Computer", following "Make Me Feel", "Django Jane" and "Pynk". Prior to the release of the set on April 24, Monae will release a 44-minute short film on MTV and BET.

"I play a citizen, living life, finding love, being myself in a society where that makes me an outlaw, something 'dirty' that the society need to get rid of," she says of her character in the movie. "I think it speaks to where we are right now, and what we've gone through recently as black millenials, and as women, and as Americans."

In support of the album, Monae is set to embark on a North American tour. The 28-date trek will launch on June 11 in Seattle and wrap up on August 4 in Atlanta. Tickets will go on sale to general public on Wednesday, May 2 via Live Nation. Each online U.S. ticket purchase will include a standard digital copy of "Dirty Computer".
