AceShowbiz - Model and fashion designer Lauren Bush has become a mother for the second time. The 33-year-old and her husband David Lauren welcomed young Max, a little brother for their two-year-old boy James, on Thursday, April 19, just two days after Lauren mourned the death of her grandmother, former First Lady Barbara Bush.
David, son of fashion icon Ralph Lauren, debuted the newborn on Instagram on Friday, April 20. "We feel lucky and blessed to introduce our son Max Walker Lauren...!" the proud dad captioned the snap. "He is happy and healthy and enjoying his new world!"
Max's maternal grandfather, Neil Bush, also shared the news of the child's arrival in a heartfelt post online, after noting the "circle of life" following the loss of his mother, the wife of ex-President George H.W. Bush, at the age of 92.
"Barbara Bush was loved by everyone," he wrote. "She lived a remarkable life blessing family, friends, and total strangers around the world. Mom left on her own terms. In the final hours she was comfortable, loving, surrounded by family, holding hands with dad."
"Maria [his wife] and I will always be grateful for being able to say a proper goodbye to our wonderful mother. And then two days later, yesterday morning, two weeks before her due date, Lauren Bush Lauren gave birth to a beautiful 7 lb 8 oz baby boy Max Walker Lauren. The circle of life. God is good," he continued.
