AceShowbiz - Khloe Kardashian has officially announced the name of her first baby, who was born on April 12. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has taken to her Instagram account to reveal that she and boyfriend Tristan Thompson named their baby daughter True Thompson.
Along with an image of a room filled with pink flowers and balloons, the mother of one wrote, "Our little girl, True Thompson, has completely stolen our hearts and we are overwhelmed with LOVE. Such a blessing to welcome this angel into the family! Mommy and Daddy loooove you True!"
Explaining the origin of the baby's first name, Kris Jenner revealed that the name True is actually a family name. "I'm so excited to welcome my precious little granddaughter TRUE!!!" she wrote on social media. "FUN FACT... my Grandfather's name on my Dad's side was True Otis Houghton... my real Dad's name was Robert True Houghton... so I am so excited Khloe named her daughter True!!!"
But many are not impressed that Khloe named her baby True Thompson, with one fan writing, "How Khloe gonna name her baby True Thompson when her daddy didn't stay true to her momma???" Another tweets, "Khloe calling her baby True Thompson when her daddy ain't nothing but a two bit liar," adding, "smells like Kris Jenner to me."

Some others, meanwhile, are disappointed that the reality TV star decided to use Tristan's last name for her baby despite his cheating scandal. "But did Khloe Kardashian really just name her child True Thompson," an upset fan writes on Twitter. "idk if I'm more disappointed in the first name or last name." One other posts a gif of Kris holding a gun and writes, "Kris Jenner when she finds out Khloe named her child True Thompson and not Kardashian."

Despite the backlash, it appears Khloe has never thought about giving her daughter her own last name. A source tells PEOPLE, "Khloe still very much loves Tristan, and this baby is one half his. True is their child together. Giving the baby his last name was never in question."
