Replying to a fan who asks if she drinks alcohol in a photo, the 'Sorry Not Sorry' singer says, 'It was red bull.'

AceShowbiz - Demi Lovato reacted to a fan who accused her of breaking sobriety after pictures of her celebrating Hayley Kiyoko's new album surfaced on internet. One particular photo has many fans wondering if the songstress holds a bottle of alcohol in the pic.
Feeling curious, one fan eventually asked Demi herself. The said fan wrote on Instagram, "Bishh I'm not hating on you or tryna put you on blast but frs frs can you at least explain this lmaooo. Also at all of you who will prolly get defensive and pissed, I'm not tryna question Demi's sobriety bc I have a lot of respect for her. It just seems weird."
It didn't take too long for Demi to respond, as she simply wrote, "I don't have to defend anything but it was red bull."

Just last month, Demi marked six years of her sobriety. She celebrated the milestone at the New York stop of her "Tell Me You Love Me" tour with DJ Khaled. Recalling the moment when she decided to stop drinking, she told the audience, "I just remember thinking, 'This is no longer cute. This is no longer fun. And I'm just like my dad.' So I made changes in my life."
She then went on sharing that the reason why she became more open about her past addiction was because she wanted to help people with similar situation. "Mental health is something that we all need to talk about and we need to take the stigma away from it," she said, tearing up. "So let's raise the awareness. Let's let everybody know it's OK to have a mental illness and addiction problem."
Aside from helping people with mental health, Demi has also been busy promoting body-positivity. The singer, who has given up dieting, recently shared on Instagram pictures of her showing off her cellulite, stretch marks and extra fat. She wrote along with the pics, "I still love myself."
