AceShowbiz - An "Avengers" fan named Emilio Pachon died from Neurofibromatosis type I on Wednesday, March 28 around 3:00 A.M. Before he died, he asked whether he could get a supporting message from one of The Avengers, and he got it with the help of Fox News journalist Shannon Bream.
Previously, Shannon met the boy's uncle on a flight and they talked about the kid's serious condition. The man also said that his nephew only had several days to live. Days later, he reached out to Shannon, saying that Emilio was a huge fan of "The Avengers". Soon, Shannon tweeted that there was a boy who was dying and needed help from the Avengers. The tweet reached so many Twitter users and was eventually read by some of the "heroes," including Chris Evans and Ryan Reynolds.
In the post, Shannon wrote, "Need your help Twitterverse-trying to help a young boy who is dying. He probably has just days and all he want is a greeting from one of the Avengers. If you have a celeb connection, please let me know. Otherwise, could you help out with a RT? Thank you in advance!" The post was noticed by Chris, who replied, "Happy to! DM me."

Meanwhile, Ryan wrote, "I'm more of a 'Reserve Avenger'. But happy to help. DM me."

Paul Bettany, who voices Jarvis in three "Iron Man" films, also read the tweet and replied, "I'm the purple one. DM me."

After the tweet reached some stars, Shannon said that "major progress has been made." She tweeted, "Thank you, EVERYONE! Major progress has been made because of you. A special assist coming in from [CNN's] @jaketapper I guess Twitter can be full of love when someone really needs it."

The 11-year-old boy received a greeting video from eight celebrities, including Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Rudd.
Following Emilio's death, Shannon tweeted, "Twitterverse, young Emilio has lost his fight. Thank you to the thousands who pitched in so that he could hear from some of his heroes in his last days. You lit up his hospital room and blessed his family. Emilio's simple request launched an avalanche of goodness and miracles."

In another post, Shannon asked for prayers for those who had lost Emilio. She also encouraged any heroes to send messages to Emilio's twin little brothers in a separate post.
