The country music couple tied the knot on Saturday in Nashville, with the bride donning a nontraditional wedding gown.

AceShowbiz - Maren Morris and Ryan Hurd are officially married. The country music stars said their "I do's" on Saturday, March 24 in Nashville in an outdoor ceremony, less than a year after Hurd popped the question to the "My Church" hitmaker in July 2017.

On Sunday, the newlyweds took to Instagram to share pics from their wedding. Morris posted a photo of her and her new husband sharing their first kiss as a married couple at the altar. The altar appeared to be surrounded by a plastic tent to block out the rain. They looked happy despite the not-so-friendly weather.

"My last turn home," she simply captioned it, referencing to Tim McGraw's ballad song which Morris and Hurd wrote together. The couple met for the first time during the songwriting session in Nashville in 2013.

My last turn home.

Hurd shared on his own Instagram page a black-and-white picture of them kissing indoor. The photo gives a better look at the front of Morris' gown, which featured a sparkly belt over a lacy bodice, with a daring cutout in the center.

Morris wore a custom-made dress by Nashville designer Cavanagh Baker which was short in the front with a long train in the back. It blended modern and traditional elements and paid homage to the 27-year-old singer's mother's vintage dress with its high-low silhouette updated with modern details.

Those details include couture embroidered lace from Spain and crystal straps handmade in India. The train was made of 20 layers of tulle and covered with lace appliques. It is detachable to make it more comfortable for the bride to dance at the night reception.

Morris previously told PEOPLE about the inspiration for her wedding dress, "She was a badass and had this short wedding dress, so I sent it to this designer that I love." She added, "I was like, 'If we can do a modern version of my mom's wedding dress just dreaming something up really cool but still throwback with her vibe, I would love to make that happen.' So I'm just waiting to get sketches back but I know it'll be perfect."

She also wore sky-high bejeweled heels, while the groom donned a bright blue suit and brown shoes.

Days leading up to the wedding, "The Middle" singer shared her excitement as she penned her vows. "Writing vows, feeling sentimental AF and dreaming of this guy being my freaking husband in a few days," she wrote along with her black-and-white photo with Hurd.
