Logic Nabs Second No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 With 'Bobby Tarantino II'

The rapper earns his second No. 1 album as 'Bobby Tarantino II' debuts atop the chart, dethroning last week's chart topper, 'Black Panther' soundtrack album.

AceShowbiz - Logic's sixth mixtape "Bobby Tarantino II" debuts atop Billboard 200, marking the rapper second No. 1 effort on the chart. Making its way out through Visionary/Def Jam, the 13-track effort racked up 119,000 album units, including 32,000 in traditional album sales in the week ending March 15, according to Nielsen Music.

The "1-800-273-8255" hitmaker first ruled the chart less than a year ago with his third studio album "Everybody". The set opened at No. 1 on the chart in May 2017 after selling 247,000 units. Meanwhile, his previous mixtape, "Bobby Tarantino", debuted and peaked at No. 12 in 2016 with 19,000 units.

Trailing behind Logic is Lil Yachty. The latter's new album "Lil Boat 2" lands at No. 2 with 64,000 units, marking his highest charting album and second top 10 effort. Another musician who earns his highest charting album ever is David Byrne. His latest album "American Utopia" bows at No. 3 with 63,000 units.

Last week's chart topper, "Black Panther" soundtrack album, slips two spots to No. 4 with 63,000 units as the movie continues ruling the box office. Meanwhile, rock band Judas Priest's "Firepower" debuts at No. 5 with 49,000 units, marking their highest charting album.

"The Greatest Showman" soundtrack album falls to No. 6 with 48,000 units, while Migos' "Culture II" dips to No. 7 with 45,000 units. On the other hand, Jimi Hendrix's latest posthumous album "Both Sides of the Sky" arrives at No. 8 after racking up 37,000 units. Of that sum, 35,000 were in traditional album sales.

Closing out the top 10 for this week are Ed Sheeran's "Divide (division sign)" and Post Malone's "Stoney". While the British crooner's third studio album drops four spots to No. 9 with 33,000 units, the "Rockstar" rapper's debut album descends to No. 10 with 32,000 units.
