The 'All the Way Home' singer takes to Instagram to show off her new look in addition to sharing a video of her transformation.

AceShowbiz - Tamar Braxton is now bald. The "Braxton Family Values" star, who used to sport long blonde waves, has taken to Instagram to debut her newly-shaved head. Unlike many female celebrities who ditched their long hair for movies, she decided to do it for herself.
"Im over feeling captive to a wig, weave, people, people's comment & opinions hell... even my OWN feelings!" Tamar wrote on the photo-sharing site. "WE can choose to stop these things from having the power and victory over us!! And for me, that starts TODAY."
Tamar also shared a video of her transformation as Bobby Brown's "My Prerogative" was being played in the background. "Feeling free," so she captioned the clip, adding a scissors emoji.
While many of her followers leave gushing comments such as "beautiful," "love," and "looking good Tay," the songstress' friends are concerned about her. "Tamar shocked everyone with this head shaving, it's so out of character. Of course her friends are concerned, they can't help but worry that this is a cry for help," a source tells HollywoodLife.com. "Tamar can be very emotionally unstable at times and usually Vince [Vince Herbet] is to blame."
"Her friends are afraid that she shaved her head as a reaction to more drama with Vince," the source continues. "But Tamar insists it's the opposite and this is her stepping into her full power as a woman. She says she's cutting ties with all the drama and insecurity, she swears that this is a very good thing and no one need to worry about her."
Tamar filed for divorce from Vince last October after nine years of marriage. It appeared they did not split on good terms as the "All the Way Home" singer previously accused her husband of cheating on her and getting another woman pregnant while they were together.
