The Palace announced on Friday, March 2 that Meghan Markle would be having her biggest royal event. Alongside her fiance Prince Harry, Meghan is scheduled to join Queen Elizabeth for a special church service on March 12, marking Commonwealth Day.
Also attended by other senior members of the family, the Westminster Abbey event will mark a public acknowledgement by the monarch of the royal bride-to-be. The former "Suits" actress' future father-in-law Prince Charles and soon-to-be in-laws Prince William and Kate Middleton are also expected to be present at the event.

The service reportedly will feature a special performance by One Direction's Liam Payne in addition to a reflection by Dr. Andrew Bastawrous, an eye surgeon who turned a smartphone into an examination tool which works to combat avoidable blindness in developing countries.
Following the service, Meghan, Harry, William and his pregnant wife Kate are set to head into the square behind the Abbey where they will meet school children. Later, they will attend a reception.
In related news, Prince Harry and Meghan are said to be inviting more than 2,500 people to their upcoming May 19 royal wedding. The huge number does not include 800 people who will be invited to the ceremony at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle. "Prince Harry and Ms. Meghan Markle have said they want their Wedding Day to be shaped so as to allow members of the public to feel part of the celebrations too," the palace said in a statement. "This wedding, like all weddings, will be a moment of fun and joy that will reflect the characters and values of the Bride and Groom."
About 1,200 of those are the members of the general public with around 200 coming from charities and other organizations supported by the couple. The rest are from schoolchildren, residents of Windsor and members of the Royal Household.
