After facing backlash for his "Suicide Forest" vlog earlier this month, YouTube megastar Logan Paul has returned to the platform with a new video about suicide prevention. Titled "Suicide: Be Here Tomorrow", the video follows Logan learning about suicide, which kills about 800,000 people every year.

"I know I've made mistakes, I know I've let people down. But what happens when you're given an opportunity to help make a difference in the world," Logan said in the video. "It's time to learn from the past as I get better and grow as a human being. I'm here to have a hard conversation so that those who are suffering can have easier ones."

Logan, who apologized for the initial video multiple times, is also seen in the video meeting with the director of Suicide Prevention Lifeline and interviewing a survivor. Logan then goes on to list the five steps to help prevent suicide: ask, listen, be there, help connect and check in.

At the end of the video, he promises to make an effort to "immerse himself in the conversation." He says, "So I'm pledging to donate $1 million to various suicide prevention organizations with the first $250,000 going immediately to the National Suicide Prevention Hotline so they can increase their capacity to help those in need."

The video receives mixed reviews from people, with many saying that they are happy to know that he's back. A fan comments, "Glad you are back Logan. Glad to see you making yourself aware and educating yourself on suicide."

Prior to uploading the seven-minute clip, Logan posted on the video-sharing platform an apology video, in which he said he's ashamed of himself for posting the "Suicide Forest" clip, which had been deleted. "I don't expect to be forgiven," he said in the short clip. "I made a huge mistake. I don't expect to be forgiven. I'm ashamed of myself."
