Dua Lipa has gone separate ways from her rocker boyfriend Paul Klein. The "New Rules" hitmaker apparently abandons her own set of rules to not getting back with an ex as a new report claims that she's reconnecting with her ex-boyfriend Isaac Carew.

The Sun reports that the British singer split from Paul after five months of dating, adding that Dua is back in contact with Isaac. Dua and Paul, who is in the rock band named LANY, started dating last summer after meeting at the British Summertime gigs in London's Hyde Park.

"Dua and Paul had a really good time together but things just didn’t work out," said a music source to the news outlet. "She is very positive about the situation though, and has been pouring her emotions into her new album, which she has been writing in Jamaica and Los Angeles."

According to the source, "the break-up has brought back memories of Isaac, who she split with this time last year." The 22-year-old singer is said to be messaging celeb chef and model Isaac, whom she dated for two years. "She has been messaging him again but she has been out of the country for the last few weeks so they haven't seen each other," reveals the source.

Fans, however, don't seem to get too excited with the news of the "Hotter Than Hell" singer reuniting with her ex. "So Dua Lipa broke her own rules…," a fan writes on Twitter. Similarly, another fan tweets, "DUA LIPA JUST GOT WITH HER EX-BOYFRIEND. SOMEONE FORGOT ABOUT THE DAMN RULES."
