'Incredibles 2' Reveals New Characters, Sophia Bush and Jonathan Banks Join the Cast

Disney-Pixar has revealed first look as well as details of the new characters that will be played by Bush, Banks, Bob Odenkirk and Catherine Keener among others.

AceShowbiz - The team is assembled! Disney-Pixar has revealed the main characters of "Incredibles 2", including old and new faces that will be featured in the long-awaited sequel to the 2004 animated superhero film "The Incredibles".

Among the new additions is %cJonathan Banks% ("Better Call Saul"), who will voice Rick Dicker. Voiced by %cBud Luckey% in the original movie, the character heads up the official Super Relocation Program and helps the Parr family keep their superhero identities secret. Unfortunately for the superteam, the family is left to their own devices when the division is closed.

%cSophia Bush% joins the cast as Voyd, a young Elastigirl fan who aspires to be a superhero and has the abilities to "divert and manipulate objects around her by creating voids that allow the objects to appear and disappear, and shift in space."

%cIsabella Rossellini% voices Ambassador, who advocates for superheroes to be legalized.

Previously announced new cast members %cBob Odenkirk% and %cCatherine Keener% will play Winston Deavor and his sister Evelyn Deavor, who lead a telecommunications company. Ultra-wealthy, savvy and suave, Winston is a superhero fan and would like to help bring them out of hiding and back into the public eye by revamping public perception of them. Evelyn, meanwhile, is a genius who loves working on tech and has never met a problem she can't solve.

%cCraig T. Nelson% is back as Bob Parr a.k.a. Mr. Incredible, %cHolly Hunter% returns as Helen Parr a.k.a. Elastigirl, %cSarah Vowell% returns to voice Violet Parr, %cHuck Milner% still voices Dashiell "Dash" Parr, %cSamuel L. Jackson% returns as Lucius Best a.k.a. Frozone, and Brad Bird once again lends his voice to Edna "E" Mode.

In "Incredibles 2", everyone's favorite family of superheroes is back, but this time Helen is in the spotlight, leaving Bob at home with Violet and Dash to navigate the day-to-day heroics of "normal" life. It's a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack's emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone must find a way to work together again-which is easier said than done, even when they're all Incredible.

Brad Bird still serves as director and penned the script for the fantasy movie, which is scheduled to open in cinemas across the U.S. on June 15.
