AceShowbiz - Ivanka Trump sent Twitter into a frenzy with one single tweet that she posted on January 8 following Oprah Winfrey's inspirational Golden Globes speech. Many users immediately began responding to her tweet, expressing their confusion considering that her father Donald Trump has been accused of sexual harassment by multiple women. Among them was "Star Trek: Discovery" actor Jason Isaacs.
"Who knew a tweet could make you puke, piss yourself and spray shot all at the same time?" he tweeted on the following day, adding the hashtag #BrainlessBarbie. His tweet received positive responses from his followers. One user wrote, "Best tweet of 2018. Thank you jason."

Jason also received criticism for his tweet, though. Thus, he took to Twitter again to clarify what he really meant. "To the many critics who have challenged me for the #BrainlessBarbie hashtag in response to @IvankaTrump, an apology: you're right," he wrote. "One's a plastically enhanced, deeply mysogynist parody of a woman. The other's Barbie."

After his second tweet was posted, many users stated that they agreed with what he said. "Seldom do I enjoy hot coffee coming out my nose.. Like I do right now," one follower wrote. Another tweeted, "I work for Mattel and spend my days tracking Barbie metrics and I wholeheartedly support your use of this. I also like #SoullessBarbie."

The Lucius Malfoy depicter was not the only celebrity who slammed the First Daughter for her tweet. Replying to Ivanka's tweet, Chrissy Teigen simply tweeted, "Ew go away." Meanwhile, Ivanka has not responded to the criticism.

During the 2018 Golden Globes, Oprah received a standing ovation for her speech, in which she made an important statement to empower women. "For too long, women have not been heard or believed if they dare speak the truth to the power of those men," she said. "But their time is up. Their time is up."
