AceShowbiz - New photos from "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald" have made their way out online ahead of the film's release. One photo which is debuted by Warner Bros. via Empire Magazine sees Katherine Waterston's Tina Goldstein and Eddie Redmayne's Newt Scamander together, looking rather anxious.

Another photo arrives via USA Today. It offers fans a new look at Johnny Depp as the titular Dark Wizard. He rocks his signature platinum hair while showing a serious face, somehow giving off unfriendly feelings. He is joined by a new character named Rosier (Poppy Corby-Tuech), who is one of his many recruits.

Speaking to USA Today, director David Yates talked about the younger Albus Dumbledore, played by Jude Law. Instead of Headmaster, Dumbledore will be a teacher at Hogwarts who "refuses to conform to the status quo" and is "passionate, mischievous and an inspiration" to his young students, according to Yates.

"Dumbledore sees Newt Scamander as a kindred spirit, an outsider, who is misunderstood. They recognize each other's strengths and vulnerabilities," he continued. The two will face off with Depp's Grindelwald, who holds the belief of "suppressing all non-magical beings, whom he views as inferior to wizards," the helmer explained. "He's a charismatic figure who uses his undeniable appeal to inspire others to blindly follow his cause."

The "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" sequel opens in 1927, a few months after Scamander helped to unveil and capture the infamous Grindelwald. However, the dark wizard was true to his word and escaped, gathering more followers to his cause. This time, it's down to his former friend Albus Dumbledore to stop him, but with the help of former student Scamander.

The film is set to be released in U.S. theaters on November 16 next year. Written by J.K. Rowling, it also stars Ezra Miller, Zoe Kravitz, Callum Turner, Claudia Kim, William Nadylam, Ingvar Sigurdsson, A Fine Frenzy, Dan Fogler, Olafur Darri Olafsson, Kevin Guthrie, David Sakurai and Jessica Williams (II).
