The 25-year-old actress responds with a cryptic answer when asked if her character will turn to the dark side in the upcoming installment of the space opera film franchise.

AceShowbiz - It's only a matter of weeks before "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" hits the big screen. And fans have been wondering if in the upcoming installment of the space opera film franchise, Rey (Daisy Ridley) will turn to the dark side.
The actress herself, Ridley, addressed Rey's possible turn to the dark side during her appearance on "Good Morning America" on Tuesday, November 28. But apparently not looking to spoil what could be a major plot twist in the film, she responded with a cryptic answer, leaving fans with even bigger desire to know the truth.
"I think the thing about this film is it's not so... the lines are less clear as to, like, good and bad," the 25-year-old London-born actress answered coyly. She said that in "The Last Jedi", "Rey's trying to find out about herself and about the universe, and those questions don't entirely fall to the good, nor do they entirely fall to the bad."
"She's trying to do her own sort of personal growth," Ridley continued. "I think what's amazing is that the end of the film - however that does end - it's more rich. If it's always good, the outcome isn't as important as it might be if..." she teased.
Fans will know about Rey's fate in "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" when the film arrives in theaters across the nation on December 15. In the upcoming film, having taken her first steps into a larger world in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", Rey continues her epic journey with Finn (John Boyega), Poe (Oscar Isaac) and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) in the next chapter of the saga.
Written and directed by Ryan Johnson, the film marks the late Carrie Fisher's final appearance as General Leia Organa. Adam Driver reprises his role as Kylo Ren, Lupita Nyong'o returns as Maz Kanata, Domhnall Gleeson is back as General Hux, and Anthony Daniels is back as the voice of C-3PO.
Other returning cast members include Andy Serkis as Supreme Leader Snoke, Gwendoline Christie as Captain Phasma as well as Billie Lourd. New additions to the cast include Academy Award winner Benicio Del Toro, Academy Award nominee Laura Dern and Kelly Marie Tran, who is taking on the role of Finn's new companion named Rose.
