AceShowbiz - The planning for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding is already in place. On Tuesday, November 28, just a day after the engagement announcement, Kensington Palace took to Twitter to reveal further details of the highly-anticipated nuptials.
"The marriage of His Royal Highness Prince Henry of Wales and Ms. Meghan Markle will take place at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Casstle in May, 2108," the palace announced in an official statement. "Her Majesty The Queen has granted permission for the wedding to take place at the Chapel."
Also revealed in the statement was that "the Royal Family will pay for the wedding." The statement concluded, "Further details about the wedding will be announced in due course."

Harry's communication secretary, Jason Knauf, said in a statement on Tuesday that Meghan, a protestant, would be baptized and confirmed ahead of the wedding. Knauf added, "Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are extremely grateful for the warm public response following yesterday's announcement of their engagement. In a happy moment in their lives, it means a great deal to them that so many people throughout the U.K., the Commonwealth, and around the world are celebrating with them."
According to the statement, Windsor "is a very special place" for the British prince as he and his bride-to-be "regularly spent time there over the last year and a half," and "they are grateful to The Queen for granting permission for the use of the Chapel."
“The Chapel itself has centuries of Royal tradition and hosted the weddings of many members of The Royal Family. Prince Harry and Ms. Markle are delighted that the beautiful grounds of Windsor Castle will be where they begin their lives together as a married couple," the statement continued.
"The couple, of course, want the day to be a special, celebratory moment for their friends and family," Knauf went on saying, adding that the newly-engaged couple would be "leading the planning process for all aspects of the wedding." He added, "They also want the day to be shaped so as to allow members of the public to feel part of the celebrations too and are currently working through ideas for how this might be achieved. This wedding, like all weddings, will be a moment of fun and joy that will reflect the characters of the bride and groom."
Meghan was also said to become a patron of The Royal Foundation along with Prince William, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and Prince Harry. Additionally, the 36-year-old beauty intends to become a citizen of the United Kingdom as she plans to travel around the country and learn about her new home.
Following the announcement of the royal engagement, Prince Harry and Meghan will be making a visit to a Terrence Higgins Trust World AIDS Day charity fair in Nottingham on Friday as their first royal event. The pair will meet representatives of organizations supporting people living with HIV/AIDS.
