The sewer-dwelling clown from 'It' movie warns people to not eat too much turkey for Thanksgiving.

AceShowbiz - Thanks to the success of this year's breakout horror hit "It", Pennywise the terrifying clown is now entrenched in pop culture. The film's team used this fact for their advantage in their newest Twitter post on November 23. The GIF post showed the clown's reflection on carving knife which was meant to cut a delicious-looking roast turkey. The caption read, "You'll bloat, too," which was an allusion to Pennywise's signature catchphrase.

The holiday-themed Twitter post also served as an announcement that the film's getting closer to its home video release. "It" will debut on Digital HD on December 19 before its Blu-Ray and DVD release on January 9, 2018. The home video comes with eleven deleted scenes that include one scene where Pennywise feasts on a baby. Reportedly, there is also additional footage that features scenes involving the Losers Club who will return as adults in 2019's "It" sequel.

Apparently New Line Cinema has learned a new marketing approach like "Deadpool". The studio is having fun with the character, and their smart marketing method is going to boost the digital and Blu-ray sales. It is likely that they will do similar type of announcement or marketing for future holidays.

After the massive success of the horror flick, which earned $123 million in its opening weekend, producers of "It" confirmed that the studio was working on a sequel that would take place in present day, 27 years after the first film. Later, it was announced that "It 2" would be released in U.S. theaters on September 6, 2019.

Director Andy Muschietti said that the sequel would feature the first film's young actors in flashback scenes. The casting of adult version of Losers Club has not yet started, but Jessica Chastain and Idris Elba expressed their interests to be a part of the film, and Chastain is eyed by Muschietti to be the grown-up version of Beverly. However, there is also rumor saying the film could go with unknown actors for the roles. Nevertheless, Bill Skarsgard will definitely return as Pennywise the Dancing Clown.
