The 'Gossip Girl' alum 'has paused from filming' BBC's show while the network yanks off another series which is supposed to star him.

AceShowbiz - Ed Westwick's career is in jeopardy. The actor might lose his jobs following sexual assault allegations against him. BBC puts on hold the star's appearance on its series "White Gold" and yanks his upcoming series "Ordeal by Innocence" off the schedule after he was accused of rape.

"These are serious allegations which Ed Westwick has strenuously denied," the network said in a statement. "The BBC is not making any judgement but until these matters are resolved we will not include Ordeal by Innocence in the schedules. The independent production company making White Gold has informed us that Ed Westwick has paused from filming while he deals with these allegations."

The former "Gossip Girl" member was accused of attacking two women Kristina Cohen and Aurelie Wynn. Cohen claimed that the actor forced himself on her in February 2014 when she came to his Hollywood Hills house with her boyfriend. Meanwhile, Wynn said that she was assaulted in July 2014 at his rented home in the Glendower Estates.

Cohen dated Australian producer Kaine Harling while Wynn was allegedly in a relationship with Mark Salling back then. According to both women, they told their boyfriends about the assaults but they were threatened and blamed for what happened. The two women have since connected on Facebook and offered support to each other.

Cohen filed a police report against Westwick. Her friend Blaise Godbe Lipman and her sister Katalina Colgate backed up her rape claims. They said that she confided in them shortly after the allegedly assault happened.

Westwick denied any wrongdoings, calling both allegations "unverified and provably untrue social media claims." He also claimed that he didn't know Cohen. His girlfriend Jessica Serfaty, a former "America's Next Top Model" contestant, also came to his defense. "I know you, I know the truth. Such sadness in my heart. I love your kind gentle soul. Bless," she tweeted. She added on Instagram, "Nah, thanks mate. l ain't havin any of that." The couple started dating only earlier this year.
