The reality TV star believes that people are 'taking advantage' of Harvey Weinstein scandal to try to 'make a living' or 'get famous.'

AceShowbiz - Joanna Krupa came to Jeremy Piven's defense after the actor was accused by Ariane Bellamar of groping her on the set of "Entourage". The former member of "The Real Housewives of Miami" called Bellamar a liar and believed that she took advantage of Harvey Weinstein scandal.

"I love Jeremy Piven. I've known Jeremy Piven for a very long time. He's like the nicest f**king guy I've ever met, so I think people are taking advantage of the whole situation with [Harvey] Weinstein, and they're trying to make a living or they're trying to get famous," the reality TV star said in a chat with The Blast.

"Jeremy never did anything wrong to me," the Polish star added. "He's always been an amazing friend to me, so I support him." Of the Weinstein scandal, she said, "I knew about Harvey Weinstein over 10 years ago. Did I have any issues with him? No."

When the accusations first surfaced, Piven was quick to deny them. "I unequivocally deny the appalling allegations being peddled about me. It did not happen," he said. "It takes a great deal of courage for victims to come forward with their histories, and my hope is that the allegations about me that didn't happen, do not detract from stories that should be heard."

Jeremy Piven joined the growing list of Hollywood big players caught up in sexual harassment scandals. After Harvey Weinstein fell from his grace, Chris Savino was fired by Nickelodeon, Roy Price resigned from Amazon, and Tyler Grasham was terminated from Agency of the Performing Arts due to due to similar issues.

Other embattled Hollywood figures include director/writer James Toback, "House of Cards" star Kevin Spacey, director/producer Brett Ratner, and actor Dustin Hoffman. Earlier this year, FOX News also parted ways with Roger Ailes, Bill O'Reilly and Eric Bolling due to misconduct.
