The 'mother!' actress and the 'Vow' star will be joined by Shaquille O'Neal and Dave Grohl as the show's guest hosts due to the postponement of the heart surgery of Kimmel's son.

AceShowbiz - Jimmy Kimmel is temporarily giving his hosting duty on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" to his celebrity pals as he puts his family first. As Kimmel prepares for his 6-month-old son Billy's second heart surgery, the talk show has tapped Jennifer Lawrence, Channing Tatum, Shaquille O'Neal and Dave Grohl to guest-host.
"As a precautionary measure, the scheduled second heart surgery for Jimmy Kimmel's son Billy had to be postponed this week due to the common cold," a show rep said on Monday, October 30. The surgery was originally scheduled this week but was delayed due to common cold.
The rep added, "Jimmy is very grateful to Shaquille O'Neal, Dave Grohl, Channing Tatum and Jennifer Lawrence for filling his very small shoes as guest host this week while he, his wife and children sneeze on each other."
NBA legend O'Neal will kick the show off tonight, with Mila Kunis and Aisha Tyler as special guests. The episode will also feature a performance by Ty Dolla $ign and YG. Foo Fighters' frontman Grohl will follow it up, hosting Tuesday's show. Fellow rocker Alice Cooper and Kristen Bell are set to be special guests.
Wednesday's show, meanwhile, will feature Tatum. The "Kingsman: The Golden Circle" actor will host the episode, welcoming guest Ellen DeGeneres and musical guest Pink. "Passengers (2016)" star Lawrence is set to guest-host Thursday's show, which features her idol Kim Kardashian as special guest. Linkin Bridge will serve as musical guest of the night. Celebrity guest host for Friday's show has yet to be determined.
Back in May, Kimmel revealed in heartbreaking monologue that newborn Billy had to undergo open heart surgery due to a rare heart defect, which soon became viral and drew attention to the country's health care debate. Earlier this month, the 49-year-old host gave an update on his son's health, saying that he's "doing well." He explained at that time, "He's going to have another operation coming up soon, and another when he's around eight to 10 years old."
