Paul Wesley and Phoebe Tonkin Split Again, Unfollow Each Other on Instagram

The 'Vampire Diaries' actor and his former co-star have reportedly broken up after dating on and off for four years.

AceShowbiz - Paul Wesley, 35, and Phoebe Tonkin, 28, broke up again. According to Us Weekly, "The Vampire Diaries" actor and his former co-star unfollowed each other on Instagram. They split after dating on and off for four years.

Wesley and Tonkin first met in 2012 on the set of The CW vampire drama series. "He's my best friend. It's such a fun time in my life right now," she gushed in a 2015 interview. "It's nice to have someone to share all that with."

They briefly reconciled earlier this year after a breakup. They started dating in 2013 after he called it quits with his wife, actress Torrey DeVitto, after two years of marriage. It was an amicable split and they have no children together.

Back in March, Wesley and Tonkin celebrated the end of "The Vampire Diaries" together. "I cannot believe tonight is the last episode of #thevampirediaresever," she wrote on Instagram, telling the cast and crew. "You guys have been my family for the last 5 years, Julie and Kevin, thank you for inviting me onto the show in season 4, I owe so much to you guys and this incredible opportunity you gave me, my life would most definitely not be the same without it, and I am eternally gratefully."

Phoebe Tonkin starred on "The Vampire Diaries" for a year from 2012 to 2013. She went on to reprise her role on the spin-off called "The Originals". She was last seen on the big screen in 2016's British thriller "Billionaire Ransom".

Torrey DeVitto also joined "The Vampire Diaries" in 2012. She recurred as Dr. Meredith Fell until 2013. She is currently among the main cast of NBC's medical drama series "Chicago Med". She also appeared on the two spin-offs "Chicago P.D." and "Chicago Fire".

Meanwhile, Paul Wesley hasn't returned to TV since "The Vampire Diaries" ended. He directed several episodes of the drama series and helmed an episode of Freeform's supernatural series "Shadowhunters". On the big screen, he was last seen in "Mothers and Daughters" and "The Late Bloomer" in 2016.
