AceShowbiz - Nina Dobrev is recovering well after getting into a horrible crash on her E-bike. Giving a positive update on the actress was her former "The Vampire Diaries" co-star Paul Wesley, who was met at LAX on Thursday, June 6.

When asked if he reached out to Nina following the accident, Paul told TMZ, "She's doing better now. So, that's good." Despite her surgery, the Stefan Salvatore depicter on "The Vampire Diaries" noted that Nina "will be alright."

Nina herself recently revealed that her leg surgery was a "success." In an Instagram post, the Elena Gilbert depicter shared her apprehension before entering the operating room. She admitted, "I'm such a baby when it comes to needles, blood or procedures of any kind."

In a separate Instagram Story, she captured a moment of levity before surgery. "Had to get one last photo of my leg - pristine- before it's all scarred up," she penned.

Prior to the operation, Nina also shared her gratitude for the support she has received from friends, fans and her boyfriend, Olympian Shaun White. "I have been feeling the support and positive energy," she said, "It means more than you will ever know."

While Nina didn't offer details about the incident that left her with a neck brace and a knee brace, she shared that she would have "a long road of recovery ahead."

Meanwhile, Paul also discussed her relationship with model girlfriend Natalie Kuckenburg, who joined him during the new interview. As he previously called her the funniest person he's ever met, Paul was asked if it's looks or humor that he considers the most important part in a partner. "I'd say a combination of both but probably humor takes the top," the "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" star said.
