Ex-Pussycat Dolls Member Kaya Jones Compares the Girl Group to 'Prostitution Ring'
Celebrity

The singer claims that Robin Antin abused all members of her girl groups and blames her for the death of G.R.L.'s Simone Battle.

AceShowbiz - Kaya Jones made a shocking revelation about her former girl group The Pussycat Dolls. The ex-member described the now-defunct group as a "prostitution ring" and called out the creator Robin Antin in a series of angry tweets.

She initially posted cryptic messages, "Tried to silence us, made us stronger. Tried to drug us, but we were wide awake. Tried to blacklist us, but fans followed. We aren't kids anymore. The children you messed with that survived the abuse, we are adults now. Are you ready old ones to fight? Cause you all are looking mighty old."

She then began her story, "My truth. I wasn't in a girl group. I was in a prostitution ring. Oh & we happened to sing & be famous. While everyone who owned us made the $. How bad was it? People ask - bad enough that I walked away from my dreams, bandmates & a 13 million dollar record deal. We knew we were going to#1."

"I want the den mother from hell to confess why another 1 of her girl group girls committed suicide? Tell the public how you mentally broke us," Jones continued. While she didn't name anyone, she appeared to call out Antin and referred to Simone Battle, a member of another of Antin's girl group G.R.L., who killed herself in 2014.

"To be apart of the team, you must be a team player. Meaning sleep with whoever they say. If you don't, they have nothing on you to leverage. Yes, I said leverage. Meaning after they turn you out or get you hooked on drugs, they use it against you. Correct. Victimizing the victim again."

"That's why I have so much respect for our military. I've been through war. But my scars you can't see. At least real war is honest," she went on. "Why don't we report it? Because we are all abused! I personally have been warned if I tell I will ... you know end up dead or no more career."

She then revealed, "I told press in Hollywood about my abuse & they did nothing. I'm still dealing with Vegas. Talk about back to back. Vegas & Hollywood man. In 2004 I told hollywood executives, 2005-2006 I told press. In 2011 I spoke up again. Hope you can hear me now Media in 2017! Way to go. I wonder if any other victims kept a journal like I did? Oh yes I kept a journal with timelines ...."

"I'll be damned if I'll sit back & watch them take advantage of the public & other young women again. No reunion on my watch. Abuse is abuse. Doesn't matter if it's mental, physical or emotional. Music industry needs a cleansing," continued the singer who left the Pussycat Dolls in 2005.

"I finally feel the weight I've held in my heart lifted & mending. It's been hard to hold lies in for people who broke me. No more. I hope more women & men come out & share their abuse & pain. We must shine a light on this issue in the entertainment business."

Neither Robin Antin nor Kaya Jones' former bandmates including Nicole Scherzinger responded to her fiery claims. However, E! News reported that Asia Nitollano was briefly in the group after winning Antin's reality show in 2007 fired back at Jones.

"Who is Kaya Jones? Lol She was not apart of The Pussycat Dolls the recording group so I do not know her. If she was in the Vegas show then I know nothing about that nor have I ever heard such a thing. But judging from google she looks like she just wants her 15min of fame. (Side note... it says she's a Trump supporter... but yet she's Canadian, which means her vote doesn't count!!!! ) Same with this comment about The Pussycat Dolls; she wasn't in the group so her opinion doesn't count!!!!"
