"a laurel canyon kind of night," so Quinto captioned the photo that found him resting his hand on his chin while wrapping the other around his longtime love.
Further fueling the rumors, McMillan took to Instagram Stories to zoom in on the ring Quinto wore.
In the following night, the couple was spotted stepping out to attend Jesse Tyler Ferguson's "Tie the Knot" anniversary event. They got to pose together for photos, though they kept their left hands out of sight from the cameras.
Neither Quinto nor McMillan has responded to the marriage rumors.
The Spock of the "Star Trek" film series and the model began dating in the summer of 2013. The couple moved into an apartment in Manhattan that they purchased together in early 2015.
Quinto publicly came out as gay in October 2011, after New York teenager Jamey Rodemeyer's tragic suicide. The actor explained at the time he realized that hiding his own sexuality was doing nothing for the greater cause of hope and acceptance.
"In light of jamey's death - it became clear to me in an instant that living a gay life without publicly acknowledging it - is simply not enough to make any significant contribution to the immense work that lies ahead on the road to complete equality," Quinto wrote in a candid blog post.
"I believe in the power of intention to change the landscape of our society - and it is my intention to live an authentic life of compassion and integrity and action," the "Heroes" alum continued, noting, "Jamey rodemeyer's life changed mine."
